Stella Mccartney

That’s right, Stella McCartney herself is a lifelong vegetarian. Which is why it was so important for her to build a luxury brand on the values of responsibility, honesty, modernity and sustainability. Beginning with collections of women’s ready-to-wear that debuted her signature sharp tailoring, feminine and naturally confident style for the modern women. Now, the brand includes women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections, accessories, lingerie, eyewear, fragrance and kidswear. Stella McCartney’s popularity was apparent from the start, and the designer’s best-selling item, the Falabella handbag with its distinguished braided chain detailing, has since only increased her popularity more. Learn more about how Stella is breaking the rules as a luxury sustainable brand!

Stella McCartney has always had a policy of not using any leather or fur in her designs. It was the first fashion brand to join the Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network and, not to mention, winning the Green Designer of the Year award multiple times.

What do you contribute to when you buy a Stella McCartney item of clothing?
Stella McCartney, throughout her career, has always seen the bigger picture, which is why as a brand they support, partner and collaborate with organisations and brands that do as well. Launching “MEAT FREE MONDAY”, an awareness campaign in the UK, and an ongoing partnership with the International Trade Center’s Ethical Fashion Program (ITC) creating accessories hand made from printing to stitching in Kenya are only and couple of examples.

Perhaps, not everyone knows that...
In 2012, for the first time in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, a fashion designer was appointed to design the apparel for a country’s team. It was Stella McCartney for Team Great Britain!
