Founded in 2009, in Milan, by designer Massimo Giorgetti, Italian brand MSGM recently bridged the first 10 years of operations. Bright colours, original prints and, why not, a touch of ultra modern poetry too: this was the key to success for one of the most loved brands by the younger generations and more. Over the last 10 years, the designer from Romagna has never stopped wowing us, also thanks to the collaborations he’s established with great success (among them all, we recall the AW20 collections, designed with the master of horror Dario Argento). There’s no doubt Giorgetti was able to combine the great luxury of the manufacturing tradition with the comfortable versatility of contemporary clothing, building a well-defined identity that’s based on the concept of ‘clash’. Moreover, this young creative grasped the communicative potential of T-shirts and sweatshirts, printing on minimal garments thought-provoking words, like ‘‘sogneremo più forte - we’ll dream harder’ and ’We are two. My dark side and I.’. Through printed T-shirts and sweatshirts, Massimo Giorgetti gave proof of sensitivity, that same sensitivity with which, while designing his proposals, he drew inspiration from subcultures and reinterpreted the staples of the men’s and women’s wardrobe. This Autumn-Winter, let your look speak for you, wearing MSGM!
