MSGM SS20 WOMEN’S COLLECTION

Romantic, sensual, and yet sporty: this is the woman imagined by Massimo Giorgetti for the new MSGM collection, with which he celebrated the 10th anniversary of the brand he founded in 2009. For Spring-Summer 2020, the Italian brand brought to the catwalk an explosion of marvelously bold colours, animating La Triennale di Milano. Frills, maxi ribbons, and multicolored floral prints met, in this occasion, white sneakers, cycling jeans and goggles with neon details, for a proper ‘mix & match’ of patterns, tones and styles. Moreover, the designer who comes from Rimini gave a touch of artistic evasion to the SS20 Women’s collection, sending down the fluorescent green runway shirts and tote bags that featured proper artworks. Ultimately, as the poster at the entrance of La Triennale read, ‘abstinence is over’. So, the MSGM woman writes her future, recalling a not-so-far-away past, and has fun doing it, by creating a young, spontaneous and all the more contemporary look.
