You work on and with social networks: what’s your relationship with them and your followers like?
My relationship with social networks and followers is constantly evolving, and it’s driven by curiosity. I grew up with social media, and that’s allowed me to get to know, study and, eventually, use them as work tools. My followers are often rascals, as they don’t listen to me, but they do enrich me greatly: ours is a give and take relationship.
I’m more inspired by movie icons
You have a strong sense of style. Where do you draw inspiration from? Do you follow seasonal trends, or do you draw inspiration from a style icon in particular?
I don’t take inspiration from seasonal trends much, because they’re a double-edged sword. On one side they make you discover and want new clothes, but on the other it’s often clothes that don’t match your style. I’m more inspired by movie icons.
If you close your eyes, how do you envision the perfect look?
If I close my eyes and imagine the perfect look, I see two: the first one is a pajama-style set, one of those looks you can either pair with slippers and go to bed, or match to a pair of high heels and be ready to go out. I also see tailored, wide-leg trousers and an oversized blazer, rigorously worn on its own to unveil some skin!
