DIOR HOMME AW20 MENโS COLLECTION
For Autumn-Winter 2020/21, the designer whoโs at the creative helm of the Dior Homme collections, Kim Jones, presented a collection dedicated to punk icon, as well as stylist and jewelry designer, Judy Blame. In Place de la Concorde, during PFW-Paris Fashion Week, the English-born artistic director paid homage to his friend who died in February 2018, sending the meeting between masculinity and femininity down the catwalk. From the perfume in the air to the shirts and ties with monogram prints, every single detail spoke Dior. Among the proposals we liked the most, there were jumpers with motifs recalling the French paintings of the 18th century, the silk embellished bomber and the black cape with embroidered crystals that closed the show. Completing Jonesโ creative vision were accessories and pieces of jewelry, such as berets, safety pin-shaped earrings, velvet gloves, pearl necklaces and tie clips. As well as bags recalling, in the shapes, the iconic โSaddle Bagโ and long trouser chains with snap-hooks, charms and key holders. Ultimately, the โnew lookโ of Kim Jones for the Dior man convinces with its attention to detail and the spirit with which Jones designed it, becoming the spokesman of a boundless style.
