Alanui—which means large path in Hawaiian—was started in 2016 by brother and sister duo Carlotta and Nicolò Oddi. At that time, the brand was based on one sole item: the unisex belted cardigan. Their ethos centers around the concept of clothing as a companion through the journey of life and this is reflected in their style. Their unique pieces take inspiration from designs and patterns found all over the globe interpreted in beautiful colorways. In keeping with the theme of travel, each item is embellished with a Saint Christopher’s medal, a small charm to bring luck to the wearer on their travels.
