The school girl look you won’t regret

The revival of the ‘good school girl’ has resurfaced in the chicest way possible for Autumn-Winter 2020/21. The most sought out designers sent down the catwalk looks inspired by prep-school uniforms and collegiate ensembles. Gracing our spirits with a reminder of youthful attitude and times. In New York City, designer Marc Jacobs was full of white poplin collared shirts, with vests, sweaters and even tasteful logo sweatshirts worn over. There were also double-breasted suits with shorts and classic Mary Jane flats. In Paris, Dior showcased a frenzy of plaid, with refined tailored blazers, matching A-line short skirts and sweater vests. All marvelously crafted with knee-high socks and boots, miniature ties and carry-all bags for your school needs. Lastly, in Milan, Versace brought back the energetic preppy cheerleader in all of us, with brightly coloured varsity sweaters, cut-out mini skirts and timeless peacoats. Needless to say, this autumn the collegiate trend has an elevated chicness that’s too irresistible not to try!
