Maison Mihara Yasuhiro for man
On this page, youโll find our collection of menswear from the iconic Maison Mihara Yasuhiro. Yasuhiro is a Japanese designer who started his career by studying textile design at Tama Art University in Tokyo in 1993. Two years later, while still completing his studies, he started to develop a fascination with shoe design, creating his own line with the backing of a manufacturer, which he named โarchi doomโ. After graduation, โarchi doomโ became the designerโs eponymous brand that we know today. Yasuhiroโs partnership with PUMA really put him on the map. The brand gave him absolute freedom, only imposing a deadline, which resulted in an unorthodox collection that garnered a lot of attention. In 1999, he transitioned into the menswear space as a result of his curiosity about which type of trousers should be worn with each pair of shoes. Heโs known for his elegantly deconstructed playful streetwear and for using optical illusions that create the appearance of multiple layers where there arenโt any.
