Hi Francesca, how do you like to call yourself?

I’m rather a tormented soul in a constant search for love and sincere emotions, for my "truth" in observing the world. I'm definitely a stubborn person with a drawer full of dreams and, of course, even insecurities, but that’s what pushes me to do more and more.

You were born and raised in Avellino, but you now live in Milan. What are the pros and cons of northern and southern Italy?

Milan is a city full of stimuli and different realities, where it seems possible to find your dimension, especially if, like me, you grew up in a small reality where you felt tight. The south, instead, is colourful, full of emotions and humanity. It's where I was born and raised, it's full of memories for me, the warmth of people and the timeless landscapes. My heart will always be divided between Campania and Puglia.

Your career ranges from being a model to working as an actress and influencer. Which of these professions do you think is the one that best represents your personality?

Actress, without a doubt. It's when I'm on stage that I feel really free, that's where I want to be. I certainly still have a lot to learn and I’ll never stop doing it, but that doesn't scare me.

Regarding your career as an actress and model, are there any figures from the past that have inspired you to prepare for roles or photo shoots?

I have a huge fascination with the strong personalities in Greek and Latin history and mythology. I could spend all my days watching films and interviews with actresses from the 60's. I don't have models that I follow obsessively, I take inspiration from everything that surrounds me, from everything that gives me an impulse.

If you had to describe your way of dressing, how would you describe it? Do you tend to follow trends, or do you just wear what you feel like wearing?

I'd call it a slightly confusing mix. I must say that it reflects the tornado that’s in my head every day. I wear what I like the most without being influenced. I love to rummage through markets and vintage shops in search of unique items that best represent me.

On social networks, especially on Instagram, you’re very active and have many followers. What’s your relationship with your followers and social media in general?

I share my interests, what most represents me, to create a dialogue, especially in private. I’m not one of the greatest conversationists in my stories. Usually, I end up talking about cinema or theater, I think it’s beautiful!

Still talking about Instagram and social media, have you ever had to face cyberbullying? How do you deal with criticism?

The relationship I have with social media is a bit of a love/hate one. They can bring strong psychological pressure, which is why it’s important to create a dialogue also on concrete issues, not just on an image. I’m always available to listen to criticism and advices.

You're 22 years old and you’ve just started your acting career and have been chosen to star in the Sky tv series "Romulus". Can you tell us how this opportunity came about and and how you balance playing your character?

I can't say too much yet. It's a small part, but it was an indescribable experience. As soon as I received the news, I was completely on tilt, laughing and crying with joy, with a mixture of worry and desire to scream. Pure magic!

Do you have a motto?

“Go get'em tiger!".

If you were to rank the most beautiful moments in your career, which are the ones you'd put on the podium?

I still have a lot to learn and realize to define a career already, I'm taking the first small steps. The best moments? Shooting for Romulus and Armani Exchange, that was a challenge too!

What advice would you give to girls who’d like to pursue an acting career like yours?

Study a lot, and never stop being curious about everything around you. The most important thing: never forget the reason why you’re doing it.

If you had a time machine, where would you see yourself in 10 years? How about if you could go back in time? Would you change anything about your path?

I still see myself around the world, I’d like to live for a while in Paris and maybe America. I see myself as a self-aware woman, I’d say that I couldn't care less about the judgment of others, but I wouldn't change anything about my journey.

Make a wish.

Done! I'll tell you when it comes true.
