The colour pink reigned supreme on all of the Autumn-Winter 2022/23 runways. From Milan, Paris, to New York fashion shows, the most sought out designers had sensual femininity, exuberant colour hues and a playful attitude at the forefront of their minds when designing in pink. Of course, there was a wide range of pink; pastels, to watermelon, French rose, lavender, to fuchsia and magenta. Not a shade was missed! New York designer Michael Kors displayed some office appropriate day-time looks; warm long-sleeve turtleneck dresses, with a matching topcoat, crocodile purse and pink suede silhouettes. Opposing looks consisted of party-ready, bodycon sparkly short dresses and a faux fur oversized coat. Continuing in party-ready fashion were brands GCDS and Blumarine, which presented dresses embodying a sexy romanticism. However, the absolute not-to-be-missed must have was the sheen leather double-breast trench coat from nonetheless creative director of Prada, Miuccia Prada.
