N°21 SS20 Men's & Women's Collection

An enchanting and iridescent mood set the co-ed collection of Alessandro Dell’Acqua for his N°21 Spring-Summer 2020 show. Highlighting to reintroduce a sense of nostalgia for an old-time atelier feel, focusing on luxurious delicate fabrics, even in a matte finish, and working with playful volumes in lengths of different silhouettes. We saw flowing mid-length, micro-floral dresses. Ones with one-shoulder cuts and long sleeves. Ones combined with an elegant, yet provocative and disheveled feel of cut-out slits, revealing a silk lingerie top as the missing part of the dress. Continuing a feminine vibe with menswear are micro-floral suits and monochromatic colours: nudes, burnt umber orange, vibrant green and black. The entire show was crafted strictly intending an alluring, confident and sensual atmosphere. Never crossing the line of overdone, and leaving room for interpretation.
