At MFW-Milan Fashion Week, Marco de Vincenzo presented ‘Macro/Micro’, his women’s collection for Autumn-Winter 2020/21. As the name of this new proposal suggests, during the creation of the AW20 collection, the Sicilian designer played with volumes and proportions. In fact, he took inspiration from artist Domenico Gnoli and the scenes from the movie ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Among mini bags, knit dresses, maxi buttons and collars, and balloon-shaped jackets, stealing the spotlight was the short draped faux leather dress, with a sweetheart neckline and crinoline. As to the world of accessories, winning us over was the magnifying glass-shaped earrings, the maxi brooches drawing inspiration from vintage pieces and shoes with oversized heels, defined by de Vincenzo himself as ‘cartoonised’. The Marco de Vincenzo AW20 collection is designed for the woman who wants to rediscover the most playful aspect of dressing up.
