In 1997, the fashion designer Thom Browne, born and raised in the American state of Pennsylvania, moved to New York City. Where he initially worked for the showroom of the Italian designer Giorgio Armani, ending up in the style department of the brand Club Monaco. In 2001, Browne eventually launched the eponymous brand, starting with 5 suits and a small ‘by appointment only’ store. It’s by reconsidering the proportions of the most rigorous tailoring that Browne succeeded in the difficult task of modernizing men’s suits, earning many international recognitions. Among tight silhouettes, unusual details and fabrics made of wool and flannel, Thom Browne keeps on amazing us with his innovative creations, that are presented through conceptual and stimulating fashion shows.
