British brand Church’s specializes in the production of leather footwear, for both men and women. Established in 1873 by Thomas Church and his three sons Alfred, William and Thomas Junior, the brand became known for the quality and the classical elegance of its offerings. In 1921, the first Church’s store opened its doors in London. About 30 years later, the company moved to a factory in Northampton, where it still stands today. The manufacturing process of each one of these luxurious shoes, also known as ‘Goodyear Welted Construction’, takes 250 steps and 8 weeks. Among the most iconic styles, the ‘Shannon’ derby, that has been worn multiple times by movie character James Bond.
